Bench Donation Program 2015
Thank you for your interest in donating a bench to commemorate a special event or as a memorial to a loved one to be placed within the city of Salem. Benches purchased through the program are placed in city parks, trails, golf courses, and playgrounds. Exact placement is at the discretion of the Park, Recreation and Community Services Director to ensure all of our parks are equally enjoyable.
Your donation form will be reviewed upon receipt. A staff member will respond to you concerning your donation within five (5) business days concerning the location of your bench. Benches ordered during the winter months will be installed as soon as possible in the spring.
