Kids Yoga
Salem children ages 4-9 are invited to participate in a children's yoga/mindfulness class offered by Shelley Powell. This class will include poses, breathing exercises, dance, crafts, and affirmations which promotes health self-esteem and self-love. In these classes, Shelley loves to combine playfulness as well as structure.  Children need to bring a blanket or towel to sit on.  We encourage them to bring a water bottle.

Ages: 4-9
Date: Monday - Thursday,
July 8th - July 11th.  Friday, July 12th will serve as a make up day if necessary due to inclement weather  * This week is filled to capacity.  Wait list only     or
August 5th - August 8th. Friday, August 9th will serve as a make up day if necessary due to inclement weather
Time: 8:30-9:30am
Location: Palmer Cove Park - meet at the picnic table near the Community Gardens (behind Saltonstall School on Chase St.)
Instructor: Shelley Powell
Cost: * FREE for Salem Children  

Necessary Forms:
** This is a grant funded program and we need to have a Participant Data Form filled out for your child.  If you have already filled this out for another 2024 summer grant funded program, you do not need to fill it out again.  This form need to be returned prior to the start of the program to kmccarthy@salem.com.
