Salem Park Walks

Path through the park.
On these walks we will observe and identify trees growing in Salem Parks, pointing out trees that have been planted as well as those growing naturally.  We will also talk about the history of when and how each park was formed.  We will walk fairly slow with stops.  Most walks will be about .5 miles long. Chris Burke, Park and Recreation Commissioner will be the walk leader. All walks begin at 9:00am.  Any questions or for more information email Chris at burkechrisb@aol.com

July 14th - Salem Willows (meet near the Clam Shack)
August 11th - Mack Park (meet at the top of the hill)
September 8th - Mary Jane Lee Park
October 13th - McGlew Park
